MMCS Challenges - Favourite Colours

Another week has flown by yet again and it's time for another new challenge at My Mums Craft Shop Challenges. This week our challenge theme is 'Favourite Colours' so we want to see creations using your favourite colours and combos.

The Design Team were really lucky to be given some fantastic Meljens Images to play with, so here is what i came up with for the challenge...This image is Firefly Fairy and isn't she just sooo cute! My favourite colours are Pink, Green & Turquiose so what a perfect excuse to use my favourite MME Papers! Now you can't tell in the piccy but this card is very glittery and girly! I coloured her with my Copics, the flowers are all from here as is this Martha Stewart Punch & these Nesties!

Love Grows Wreath

Well what a busy weekend i have had..and early start to the week too!
I was really lucky last weekend as i got to go to the LOTV Colouring Day!
It was such a brilliant day...met some crafty friends.
It was brilliantly planned out and Bev & Jacqui were both amazing, not forgetting the LOTV girls too! We did quite a few images and when i got home i thought i would make something a bit special with one of the images, as a sort of reminder and keepsake so i have made a
Love Wreath...I am really pleased with how it came out in the end. It came together very quicky as i had already coloured the image at the class and i knew what i wanted to do with it all.
We are going to have these chipboard wreaths available at My Mums Craft Shop very soon. The papers i chose are from my stash and are a mixture of Doodlebug, Bo Bunny & My Minds Eye.

Cards For Men - No Paper

Wow what a busy weekend i had - more about that later :)

It's Monday and time for the start of a new challenge at Cards For Men!
This week our challenge theme is No Paper, yes that's right no patterned paper :( This was quite a tricky one for me as i LOVE my papers to pieces! We are sponsored by the brilliant Kenny K and all the design team got some lovely images to work with too, so make sure you check out all there amazing ideas on the CFM Blog.
Here is my take on the challenge...

As you can see i kept it very simple to show off the main fun image! I used some Cuttlebug embossing folders for the backgrounds to give it a bit of texture. I coloured him with Copics of course! The music notes are a fab Die-namics Die and i added a few Card Candi round the sides!

In The Meadow

Look at this lil cutie...a lovely wee sheepie! As soon as i saw these stamps i new i had to have them. I am such a sucker for cute images...these would have been perfect for Easter too although i think you can use them for any occasion really!

I kept it nice and simple and very well..er... blue!

The stamps are fabby Nitwits Stamps, i love all there designs so fun and quirky! I think the papers are Craft Creations that i got from the NEC. I used my favourite swirl... i think i have got it's money worth now lol. The punch, pearls & tiny message are all from MMCS!

The image is Floppy Lattes Fairy Moon and the papers are Kaisercraft which are sooo pretty! The swirl is a Magnolia Die and the image is mounted onto a Nellie Snellen Die. I kept it nice and simple to show off the pretty fairy image.
