Magical Birthday

Hello and welcome to another crafty week! Have you seen the latest launch from Lawn Fawn? I'm a very lucky gal as my hubby got me some of the new bits from this release...eeek! I couldn't wait to get stamping and creating and made this card almost right away...
For this card I used the new Lawn Fawn Unicorn Picnic Stamp Set. I stamped, coloured with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created the background by clear embossing the new Lawn Fawn Starry Sky Stencil. I added some Tumbled Glass & Faded Jeans Inks Distress Oxides over the top and blended them gently. I used my MFT Cloud Edge Dies to create the clouds at the bottom. I cut the birthday word from glitter card using Lawn Fawn Birthday Script Die. The rainbow and clouds were created using Lawn Fawn Stitched Rainbow Die Set. I added a coordinating stamped sentiment which is also from the same stamp set. I added a strip of stripe paper at the bottom and added some raindrop embellishments to finish.

MFT Die-namics Dies - Stitched Cloud Edges

Another hot day on the cards today and my craft room is like a sauna at the moment! I have been crafting especially in the cooler evenings to keep me occupied. Today I am sharing a quick clean and simple card..apologies for the photograph, white is always tricky to photograph...
For this card I used some of my fab new products from The Stamp Market. So happy these are now available in the UK at Dies To Die For. I used The Stamp Market Spring Tulip, I cut it from white card several times to cover the card front. I also used it for the main focal flower. The letters are from the Mini Skinny Upper Alpha Die Set which I cut from co-ordinating coloured card. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and I added some pearls to finish.

Sending A Smile

Hi all,
Today I am sharing a colourful card that I made this week. I have been trying out some new styles of cards to broaden my skills and here is one of them using my favourite colour palette of the moment...
For this card I created the background using Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks and blended them together. Next I went over the top with a stencil using the same colours adding more pressure to get a darker colour. I then used my Altenew Simple Beauty Stamped Set and stamped each of the sketched flower in the two corners. I used my MFT Die-namics Die for the Smile word. I cut this out several times and layered it together.. I added a heat embossed sentiment using the MFT Stamps Smile Maker Stamp Set. I added a couple of strips of striped paper to balance out the black and white. I finished by adding some gems and jewels. I had so much fun making these backgrounds so watch this space for more! Ps - sorry this picture is a bit blurry my camera doesn't want to play ball at the moment.

Supplies;
Altenew Stamps - Simple Beauty
MFT Stamps - Smile Maker
MFT Dies - Smile
Distress Oxide Inks - Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio
Lucy's Little Things - Gems & Pearls
Patterned Paper

I hope you enjoy yuour weekend and I will catch you all soon.
