Farewell Wishes

Hi all :)
Today I am sharing a quick card that was made for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine that was part of the Experts Q&A....
For this card I blended the background with my distress inks. I use the Die-namics Skyline to create the building and I die cut it again in white to create a shadow type effect. I printed out the sentiment on the pc and added some gems to finish.

I will be back soon :)

Roarrr!!

Hello and sorry for the lack of posts this week. As you are probably thinking 'she must be busy'! Ohh yes, I've had so many deadlines this week and also my eldest off for half term so my feet have barely touched the ground. I thought I would share another card from my 'Cool Kid' cards that were recently in Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine...
For this card I used the Crate Paper Cool Kid Collection. I used the 12x12 papers, chipboards,  star embellishments, enamel stickers and wooden embellishments. It's a fab range with so many coordinating embellishments it's tricky to know what to use! I love all the cute dinosaurs in this range.

I will be back with more creations soon :)
Don't forget the latest new edition of Making Cards Magazine is out today. It comes with free papers, a cd rom and stamps - oh and I've got three projects in there!

Winter Penguin

Hi all :)
Today I am back with another card from last months Making Cards Magazine. This quick creation was made using the freebie toppers and papers that came with the mag...
How cute are these ickle penguins - just love them! Although they are dressed for winter they aren't just for Christmas. You can use them for winter birthdays, thank you cards - pretty much anything really! I also used a heart embossing folder, some dew drops and some stitched dies.

I will be back with more cards soon :)

Valentines Rose

Hi all :)
Sorry my posts have been so late recently - it's literally such a busy time at the moment. Deadlines galore, work coming out my ears (not complaining tho) and half terms with the kiddies too. Today we went to Bournemouth it was a lovely day and weather was pretty good too. So I thought I would share my Valentine's card I made for my other half, it was based around a sentiment I saw which is a running joke we have between us...
I kept it pretty simple as I left it to the last minute and well blokes seem to like the clean and simple look. The background was an old MFT Die called XOXO Cover Up. The flowers are Altenew Bamboo Rose Stamps which I coloured with my Copics. I printed the sentiments and added some pearls to finish.

I will be back soon with more creations :)

Ewe Have My Heart

Hi all :)
Just popping by to share another card I have made recently. This one is perfect for Valentine's Day but also great for anniversaries along with any occasion for loved ones. I love these uber cute sheep!
For this card I used the Ewe Are The Best Stamps by My Favorite Things. I coloured my stamps with my beloved Copic Pens. The fence, stitched circle and grass are both Die-namics Dies. I blended inks for the background scene. The paperI think is from a Lawn Fawn Paper Pad. I also added some Enamel Dots to finish.

I will be back soon :)

True Love

Hi all :)
Sorry I am later than planned today - it's been a busy one! So today I am sharing my latest creation that I made for Lili Of The Valley, I've used those fab Simply Print Images again..
This one is perfect for Valentines Day don't you think? It is also ideal for anniversary too. This one is called Close Your Eyes. It is also available as a Digi Stamp & Rubber Stamp too. The sentiment stamps are also by LOTV called Sentiment Tags. The papers I used are from an old LOTV paper pad but you may be able to still get these at Nitwits. The flowers are a die by Sue Wilson Dies and I added some pearls and a doily.

Don't forget any Love themed cards made using LOTV products can also be entered into our Challenge.

I will be back soon :)

Spring Birthday

Hi all :)
Despite it being FREEZING here it' lovely to see the sun out! This has got to mean spring is just around the corner right? Talking of spring, here is a spring birthday card I made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine...
For this card I used the MFT Spring Tulips Stamps & Die Set. I coloured all the flowers with my copics and popped them up onto foam pads. The papers are from a Lawn Fawn Paper Pad and I added some enamel dots. The rectangle was die cut using the Double Stitched Rectangles Die-namics Dies

I will be back tomorrow with another creation :)
